The students of second and fourth year of ANANTRAO PAWAR COLLEGE OF ARCHITECTURE Study tour in Chennai on 25th November 2022 visited Ashtalakshmi temple and Dakshin chitra museum.
Ashtalakshmi Temple is a blend of ancient Dravidian and contemporary style of temple architecture.
Dakshinachitra heritage museum treasures the life, culture, and tradition of South India. It is based on climatic and cultural factors of south India. Live traditional Houses of Kerla, Tamilnadu, Andra Pradesh and karnataka.
Students learnt how climate and region could influence various architectural elements. They also learnt authentic construction techniques of locally available materials.🙏💐
