First year settlement study tour at Parkhandi – Wai.

Today students did documentation and drawings in following aspects .

G1: History and empirical data –
Parkhandi is small village with historical background of Pandavgad, having population around 1800 to 2000 people. Total area of the village is 365 Hector. Wai, Panchgani, Mahableshwr are the near by tourist places from the Village.

G2: Services and facilities- Students are documenting water supply electricity supply system, & sanitation with in the village.

G3: Site Survey and land use –
As per Town Planning Map residential, commercial, public buildings, open spaces ,roads were marked.

G4: Traditional houses –
Study of traditional houses Masonry,Timber ,Stone construction, RCC construction and temporary structures are been studied.

G5: Public buildings.
Temples,Schools,Primary health care centre , Grampanchayat,Post Office are being documented.
̲Students under guidance of faculty are documenting entire village.
